I am surprised by how strong and physical he looks in those clips.
I’ve been travellling to Derby just to boo himHe'll be getting the Barkley treatment soon enough you lot always turn on the local lads.
We would be mad to sell him at the his stage.
He has the potential to be a very good player
He's young, technically excellent and just needs to develop strength , athleticism and game awareness
For the record I don't want to sell him. I like him. If Moyes isn't lying then something needs doing on PSR. We don't know how big a number that is. Yes I've foolishly underestimated his demand & over estimated Derby's budget with a 'creative' idea but come end of season we have a very small list of players left & one of them needs selling (again, if true). That list gets even smaller of the players we would either want to sell or reluctantly sell. He’s on that small list.Man Utd, city. Arsenal have all watched this lad, Derby aren’t buying him and we Aren’t selling. Ffs

This PSR thing could be the blockage before we are allowed to spend & we have a massive summer coming up. Short term he is the easiest, least painful to the immediate first team sale we could make. Patterson, Beto etc is a much harder sell to other clubs & Branthwaite really hurts us. Selling Branthwaite short to beat a deadline ala Richarlison would cause riots.
Patterson is the obvious one that if it could be done swiftly & early & covers whatever the PSR number is then wahoo, brilliant but this is Everton & nothing is easy.
Long term it would probably hurt us selling Armstrong but this coming window is more important than a current non first team player.
It's strange for Moyes to say it if we're OK though. Maybe playing poker to not get stiffed on transfers? Who knows. Would love Armstrong to develop into a first 11 player. I hope you're right.I think people have assumed Moyes comment means we have to sell someone. I didn't read it that way at all, and I'd be amazed if we do.
I took it as we are ok.

If he played for Liverpool or say arsenal he wouldMad that you couldn't move for double-barrelled names in the England youth setups a short time ago and now not one. Funny old game.
Or under 21sIf he played for Liverpool or say arsenal he would
Have jumped 2 levels and be in the under 20’s
