Has Moyes lost the Plot ?

Superb piece of business.

It would help if we had our first choice midfield available but I think mostly his success will also depend on having someone alongside him, namely Yakubu.

That potential midfield and forward partnership has got the lot THE LOT.

Shame Saha wasnt two or three years younger but then we probably wouldnt have got him like we did.

Yep, he's 31 now, but if we use him carefully, we could get a good few seasons out of him should he want to stay.
What he needs to do in my opinion is possibly adopt a Michael Owen approach, and goal hang a little.
I don't think we'll get the best out of the Yak this season, untill he can pull away, and stop immidiately without concern.

Always thought a fit Yak and Saha lining up at the start of a match could put the fear of god into any center back partnership! Add Peinar and Arteta to the equation and we could really be feared. Just goes to show what we are missing right now.

Moyes might have to take a step backwards here in order to take a step forwards.
We have a budget, but how dependant on finishes we are we don't really know, but if we can just get through this season without further injuries, and obviously avoid relegation, then next year we have a damn fine squad to play around with.

Add to that a good 2nd keeper, cover for left back, and another striker ( that's why it's important to try kids such as Aggard out ) and we are a force to be reckoned with next year.

So i was wrong. LOL!!:P

No, but hands up, I was probably 1 of Sahas biggest critics at the start of the season, thankfully he has shoved my words down my keyboard, well played Mr Saha.

I have to ask in the first instance did Moyes have a plot to lose?

AS for Howard I can understand the feelings about our goals against but a GK is only a sa good as the defence in front of him. That has not been good.

there's no strong character in the FIT squad, there need to be some shouting, yelling by didtin, neill, cahill and most importantly moyes fromm the touchlines reminding how pissed he is with the performance

Has Moyes lost the Plot?
Yes! The manager can no longer influence the performance of his player.
I've lost count how many times he had come out and criticise the team this season. Are there any improvements? No!

I wouldn't say Moyes has lost the plot. But, the team he has at his disposal right at this moment just is not good enough to compete at the level we have for the last few seasons.
