Even with restrictions we still have lowest percentage of home grpwn players in the prem. By quite a bit too.
That’s called £££

Sell him for almost triple what we paid, despite never kicking a ball for us... doesn't sound too bad to me.Very silly if we sell him, especially for 18m euro.
I know. But its why they need to impose restrictions when they can otherwise it would be fewer than 20% rather than 30%.That’s called £££
Jeez forgot all about him, think he got a WP in the end and had a year on loan at Preston as I remember

City bought a perfect replacement ( Pep’s words ) for Fernandinho from South America , Argentina I thinkJust out of interest can anyone else remember such a saga with any other player for any club like this? Not saying that this is a typical Everton situation just curious. May be an indication of how the club was being run at the time by Koeman and Walsh et al.
Have you ever seen him play? You're talking him up as the next best thing and you've probably not seen more than a couple of highlight reels. If we sell, it'll be either because we don't think he's good enough, not get a work permit or he wants to go permanently. It’s silly.
A very promising player who obviously has what it takes to become better.
Nobody can confirm at this point if work permit will be granted or denied and yet we are celebrating the sales of a very good playing asset.
We are certainly not desperate for 18m, people who are desperate to sell should really explain why the same enthusiasm is not seen when discussing the likes of Mirallas, Niasse, Sachneiderlin, McCarthy, besic, seems like people prioritise things the wrong way.
It’s silly to sell someone who has pace, dribbling ability, good finishing and unpredictability and in the same sentence desperate for us to sign some young prospect with exactly the same quality, and such qualities cost 40m in the current market.
We might not secure a work permit now, but in the next window(jan) it might happen so I don’t see a need to rush a sale at this point.

Either way I won't lost any sleep over it.
Again nothing mentioning the rest of our deadwood, focusing only on how he never set foot in Goodison, which at this point nobody can confirm. He may not be mbappe but he can certainly contribute with his qualities, the quality many is desperate for us to sign.
No,
For some reason Mikel has always played the 10 role for Nigeria, bizzarely.
His value will only decrease if another year of his contract elapses. Sell now. It’s silly.

None C, none.
Vlasic, Henry and Lookman all highlight why buying yoots is pointless, 99% of them go full Ravel Morrison, the other 1% become CR7.
It shows how buying youth hit still playing bolasie and Walcott over them is pointless. Also richy is a youth player , as was stones , Holgate , Coleman all brought in and all fantastic signings financially , even DCL as much as I don’t rate him is a massive success financially
All rubbish.
The players are? Or my post? So DCL, Coleman , lookman wernt all young buys? And all would make a profit if sold, DCL would fetch 15m easily imo so that’s 10 times our money on him , Coleman has given us 10years and could have been sold for 15-20m which is basically all profit considering his fee. Lookman would fetch 15m minimum so again that’s a 50% return on investment not taking into account his loan fee we got. Vlasic again profit , Henry looking like a profit . Richy is young and would fetch 60m easily and although he was the biggest outlay of these players he would also bring in the biggest total profit. Buying youth is the only way we will ever break the glass ceiling imo.
