All the MPs who put their names forward in support of a leadership challenge should the, if the challenge fails, subject themselves to the same process and see if they are people the rank and file of the party want to be representing them in Parliament.

Mate, it might offend your sensibilities, but all MPs represent their constituents. Whether they voted for them or not.

Sure, they then do party stuff in Parliament, but the only people who can get there in the first place are their constituents.
