It's a flimsy one. Labour voters voted 60% to remain. Some of them should be looking at how their own constituents voted.
I don't know about anyone else, but Corbyn's "in, but with reservations" position articulated mine and plenty of people's I know. What was he meant to do? Back Brexit? Adopt a stronger Remain position and further alienate those he's accused of not winning back? Make unkeepable promises about immigration?
That said, I'm not sure how he can carry on with such a divided party, but the weasels that organised this putsch will find themselves even more unpopular with the public I think.
The whole thing is a total mess right across the board. Maybe we're seeing the end of UK politics as we know it, which could be good or bad.
