Some new information has leaked about how Corbyn acted as the coup was in full swing:

Which probably explains why the coup went thus:

It's a sorry state of affairs really isn't it?

The incumbent is a nice man, but completely out of his depth, whilst the challenger seems like a nice lady, but would be completely out of her depth.

The Momentum group need to start their own party , and see how many votes the would get with either as a leader!
Paying £3.00 to join the Labour Party is laughable!

MPs involved in the Coup might have to start watching their backs:

Furness MP faced with Labour grassroots revolt
MP John Woodcock has been dealt a major blow by his party compatriots - after a local branch of the Labour Party supported a motion of no confidence in him.

According to sources within the Ulverston and Rural Furness Labour Party, members backed the vote overwhelmingly.

It is understood the local membership has grown increasingly angry with Mr Woodcock's attacks on beleaguered Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn - whom they still support.

A recent meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party ended in anger as Mr Woodcock clashed with Mr Corbyn's trusted aide, Seumas Milne.

Mr Woodcock - whose Barrow and Furness constituency covers Ulverston - was one of the 172 Labour MPs who voted against their leader in a vote of no confidence after Britain voted to leave the EU.

However, Mr Corbyn has stood firm as one of the few remaining political leaders still in his role following the referendum.

In a statement about the decision made by Ulverston Labour supporters, Mr Woodcock said: "This is rather unusual, but I guess feelings are running high over the decision by me and the vast majority of my parliamentary colleagues to ask Jeremy Corbyn to stand down as leader because we think he doesn't stand a chance of getting the Tories out of office at a general election.

"I am disappointed, as I work really hard for Ulverston and only recently became the first member of parliament ever to have a dedicated office in the town, but this will in no way affect my determination to do my best for my constituents.

Mr Woodcock has received the backing from Barrow and Furness constituency Labour Party chairman Terry McSorley.

He said: "Officers of the local party are aware of a meeting and the discussion that took place. John is a very hard-working MP who always stands up for Barrow and Furness in parliament and has great support both in the community and the party as shown in his successful re-election last year."

I agree. Momentum needs to fark off, I've got my local Labour party meeting on Monday. I'm looking forward to the bloodbath and putting the Momentum dullards back in their box.

Hahaha......I see that Cameron has now called the Trident vote for the 18th July....this should stir the pot.....

Aye and I hope it is passed.

About Trident, thousands of jobs both in BAE and outside in a poor area depend on this, there are no comparable skilled jobs in the area and never will be no matter what the likes of Corbyn claim.

The jobs are quite highly paid and benefit the local economy no end, without which it would be catastrophic.

The building of such a submarine takes 10 years, it is highly skilled work and at the forefront of technology which we can ill afford to bin.

It is a major cornerstone of NATO in deterrence against any would be aggressor.
