Hilary Benn Sacked From The Shadow Cabinet - wider political debate

Plus a few hudred others so why single her out?

Most of those that voted for the Iraq war based on the weapons of mass destruction lie, stayed in the house of Commons, Johnson, Benn, etc, or got on the airwaves, to 'justify' why they voted for an illegal war. Angela Eagles was nowhere to be seen. She couldn't handle the heat in the kitchen so bailed out. If she was elected to be leader, during a general election campaign when the flack will really be flying, she would buckle under the strain. She still hasn't made any statement about why she voted for war based on a lie.

The key word is challenge. If he goes it isn't a challenge it is de facto a 'coup', which flies completely against the principle of democracy that is the entire bedrock of the labour movement.
Who do the PLP represent when standing for election as a prospective parliamentary candidate?
This is the behaviour of people who know they have been found out and are trying to protect their cushy incomes and westminster lifestyles. Perhaps they'd have been better served by going on strike and forming a picket line at parliament. At leadt that way they would show some credentials...

So Mate what is JC trying to protect by his actions. Add to that what does he really stand for? Socialist government ala Chavez?

Fine mate, I remember back then and I was saying to friends and family what utter nonsense Blair was spouting. Nver in my mind did Saddam have the means to hit us with a nuke in 45 minutes. Trouble is too many folk lack commonsense.

Momentum should start their own party sorry it's no a coop it's a overwhelmingly vote of no confidence

Yes but some argue that all MPs need 51 support others says the incumbent acting leader need not bother clear as mud but if a leader cannot get 51 votes IMO he should go!

Some argue that the incumbent doesn't need 51 MP votes to stand. What it has shown since Corbyn got elected, is that the PLP didn't agree with the membership. Angela Eagles only came 4th in the deputy leadership. There is no evidence that she is popular amongst the membership of the Labour Party. That is why her gang are trying to shoehorn her in.

Some argue the opposite as the rules have been drawn up badly it will end in the courts either way the vote goes!

I have to say, having just heard the ballot rules read out in full on the radio, that unless Corbyn chooses to resign (which he won't) then the rules are clearly in his favour. The 20% rule for potential nominations for all candidates kicks in when there is a vacancy, and in this case, there is not. As a sitting leader he does not need the nomination. I understand the desperation to get rid of him but the legal argument route does seem rather obtuse.

I would say his voting record speaks volumes and resonates with people, after all he has got thousands re-engaging with politics again how could that be a bad thing? Unless of course we walk down the road and say goodbye to the democratic process?

Tell you what though...I'll bet those liscard scagrats were sweating it with beagle's office being surrounded by plod & cameras today.

They use the jigger at the side of her office to go & stash their shoplifted gear.

Just to think, this whole mess could have been avoided had 35 MP'S not made the ultimate blunder of nominating him in the first place.

I just wonder whether those who are sticking by Corbyn on here are active members of the Labour Party? During recent campaigns, the general public I encountered on the campaign trail were almost unanimously against him by 4-1.

More bollocks from you. There have been two national campaigns since he became leader; Labour held all its councils and all but 18 seats in the first (despite being predicted to lose a lot), and the second was the EU referendum.

Momentum seems to have infiltrated the forum! I can make an educated guess that you've done exactly nothing for the Labour Party and are only a member of the JC fan club.

So go away fan boy, and don't you ever interact with me again. It is your type that is destroying the Labour Party.
