That sound you can hear is Tory HQ cheering.

Such a sad state of affairs.

Apparently its the medias fault though.

It utterly astonishes me that presumably intelligent people can be so naive about the world beyond their obsession with playing a game that just looks bonkers to boring, MOTR folk like me.

Indeed. It's a real shame.

....it means nothing changes, except a likely split. Momentum feeling very much like Militant, Len McCluskey trumping everything because his man is in the hot seat. Labour totally unelectable as a socialist left wing party, a protest voice as opposed to an effective opposition or government.

I'm pretty far away from Labour ideologically, but even I can't help but feel completely dumbfounded by what is happening. Democracy only works if there is a strong opposition... where is that now? What do people who want a viable alternative do?

It really is. At times like now, how ever you voted, it is the duty of our elected parliament to act in an ordered fashion. Boris chipped off, Gove tried to play games, Farage acted like a tit in the EP, now this mucking about.

A Government needs a strong opposition. It is the duty of any opposition party to hold the Government to account, not indulge themselves in a frankly comedic episode of Pointless.

Keep telling people, don't be so sure.

The tories are in turmoil, but the press haven;t made anywhere near as much of it as they have labour's problems.

Grayling will now be given a higher posting in the cabinet. He's been an utter failure in every position he's held, with his breathtaking arrogance.

Him, along with May's simpering to europe (She failed to get migration numbers down, and kowtowed to europe each & every time over abu hamza) that will no doubt raise further dissent of the eurosceptics.

And then there's the seats under investigation...
When the labour party divides in two, which I expect, so will the votes. The labour party is on the brink of years of desolation if this happens. The tories problems are nothing in comparison.
