Bolasie was taking a corner and there was rows of fans filming it.
Looked very odd.
I wish he had dummied taking it, turned round, waved at them.
Would have been boss that.
it's part of their victim mentality, everytime they cock up they try and justify it with some bs.Does my nut in how they always use this Hillsborough card. Where's the evidence? Where had the evidence ever been? I'm not a scouser, I don't need to be a scouser to know even fans would never ever do this. It's disgusting, they're using the deaths of their own fellow supporters just to try and point score over us.
Their whole stadium is full of day trippers who record the whole game on their phones. If something like that was going on, there would be at least one person with video evidence to prove this happened. Why the [Poor language removed] do we have to defend this every bloody Derby! They're the sickest fans in the world trying to drag our great name down to their level. It's not going to happen.
Mind you, half of them are so thick that they get their songs wrong or just lack the common decency to do their own research. That's the problem with social media, everyone starts posting hurtful crap from behind a computer screen without thinking. They think they're untouchable, even if it is a lie.
Stop discussing Hillsborough.
Classic kopite propaganda when they have disgraced humanity yet again.
Back to talking about them being horrible horrible racists with no shame for their actions.
If removing the blue-tinted glasses then it really isn't irrelevant: he was lucky to not get at least a yellow card for a pretty silly push.
Furthermore, while I do not personally think it's a red I understand why some people would claim it was violent conduct and worthy of a red.
If there's no punishment for Firmino then I think it'll be brushed under the carpet, yet if there is then I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a ban too.
Like I said, I personally like yourself do not think that it warranted in Holgate being sent off by the referee - a yellow then yes I do.At worst it's a yellow. That's all. Its just kopite deflection to say that he deserves a 3 match ban etc trying to cover up what Firmino may have said. If Firmino gets a ban they'll bang that push till the cows come home feeling victimised.
Remove the aftermath, the ref books both of them and everyone moves on. That's as extreme as it gets.
Allardyce missed a few opportunities in his post match interview to put the boot into lfc and force the hand of the FA. He should have said in his post match interview when asked about a racial incident, that 'racism has no part to play in football' and ' we have reported a racial incident to the fa'.
He should have said added about it not being a penalty that an 'Everton player got a three match ban for simulation'. By saying that he would be drawing attention to the FA and whether they were going to look at it. Shearer, Reid and even Murphy said it wasn't a penalty. I think this Holgate incident has been very convenient for the rs dominated media to shut down any discussion about Lallana diving.
Exactly correct.I disagree, supply the information to the FA and say nothing, the time to talk is AFTER the verdict, class and dignity.
The FA decision makers are already being influenced by the way the BBC and Sky have basically downgraded the whole incident to "kerfuffle" status. The media haven't treated this as seriously as they would if the accused and accuser were playing for City and Chelsea or City and United for example.I seem to be disagreeing with almost everyone on this issue.
I think there is harm to be done in trying to do both. If we come out and defend someone who has done nothing wrong in regard to racial abuse we open up the debate to more than that. We dilute the issue, if you have any court experience or just watch politicians you can see that a defence is to broaden out the issue to allow you to show yourself in a better light in regard to other matters. If You can allow yourself the room to show that you can't be racist as your wife's first cousin twice removed once dated a person of different colour then you can show that you wouldn't call a person names. If you can show that the person who have been racially abused had some iffy opinions in the past then you start to put them on trial. Everton and Holgate need to keep the spotlight firmly on the incident, that is what counts.
Another problem I have with going to the press is that the storey will play out before the FA deal with it, if the public interest has been played out in the papers and people's interest then wanes then the FA can brush it under the carpet knowing that they won't come in for too much stick.
Keep the spotlight firmly on the issue, was Mason Holgate racially abused.
Whatever you think of Sam, he has been round long enough and has seen it all before.Allardyce missed a few opportunities in his post match interview to put the boot into lfc and force the hand of the FA. He should have said in his post match interview when asked about a racial incident, that 'racism has no part to play in football' and ' we have reported a racial incident to the fa'.

The problem is their success. While they can be insufferable, entitled bells, the majority of proper kopites are bearable people.
It's the out of town fans who love the 'bantz' that throw the hillsborough card in.
How often do you see some random african/asian etc (not being racist, just click on any liverpool/everton related groups on facebook) with a club badge as their profile pic behind the death threat tweets etc?
Interesting that it was Steve Walsh who represented the club and Mason in representing the club and accompanying him in making the formal allegation.
