Holgate Racially Abused By Firmino - The Guardian

Anyone remember the sickening Coleman "song", sung by seemingly the whole pub. There is footage of it somewhere, disgusting from the rs against what is a decent man and footballer. Most decent reds would agree.
And Carsleys kid, Lescotts head, who was the player who ended up in an ambulance and they were shaking the ambulance outside ?

Worse thing about that was they organised it with the intention of putting on social media. Same with the ‘hilarious’ and very wool, Merry Christmas Everton.

Im embarrassed to share the same city as them.

Mason might get a ban for the excess force - a few games. That's no big deal to him or the club. More importantly is the potential misbehaviour of Firmino. If he had verbally abused Holgate he will get a long ban which may or may not excuse action against Holgate. All the other guff the Kopites are coming out with is total BS - so no surprise there. I really don't know what all the fuss is about. If they think their man hasn't misbehaved then clearly the FA will act accordingly. But all their bitter supposition is typical Kopite deflection as we well know.

That really grinds my gears, because not only is Coleman one of our better players, he's also reportedly one of our nicest. Fans who've met him have said he's lovely and he's donated money to sick kids in Ireland to get them to Everton matches, and he's very liked in his home town, it seems. A really decent person. And they're making fun of his horrible injury. Ugh.

And WE'RE the ones who are obsessed. Pathetic.

Mocking Alan Ball's death? Attacking Cahill? Wtf?
I can't remember the insults towards Cahill, but they were of a racial undertone. Calling Yakubu purple Aki which they never got in trouble with, just imagine if Everton fans called sung songs comparing one of their black players to a black criminal. I know a lot of people criticize the RS who don't go the match, but the ones who do go are just as bad.

Loads of people criticise the out of towners but to be honest if you’re a blue in a Liverpool pub on derby day and Everton equalise or take the lead you can feel the violent tension. They mock us mercilessly when we’re in front yet if you celebrate an equaliser you get gangs of kopite blerts telling you to F off. It never works the other way round. Being better than Everton is all they have left. If that’s ever taken away complete anarchy would befall their fan base.

Liverpool’s silence on this telling. They are hoping for a lucky break here and no conclusive footage.
i don't think so. after there lad brewster made a big fuss about nothing being done about racism, itd be a bit hypocritical if they got the tshirts out again. its right that no one is saying anything until the report and that comes out.

theres no way holgate has made this up, but at the same time i really find it hard to believe firmino actually has called him that. as someone who likes to hope people arent racist even if they are of the red side, id like to think it was just a misunderstanding... but that seems as unlikely as holgate making it up or firmino actually saying it! its a very strange one for me.

one thing is for sure and thats so many liverpool fans (and not just them either, plenty neutrals piping up and showin there ignorance) have proper shown themselves up. some of the things ive seen remind me why it was only less than 30 years ago racism was common place on the terraces.
