Going to Bangkok for 3 nights then 7 in Krabi to celebrate turning 30 in May. Well looking forward to it.
Has anyone flown Thai Airways before as that's what we're booked on but don't know anyone that's used them? Just wondering what to expect.
Good to know thanks. We weren't planning on wearing many layers given the destination but will make sure we're prepared for a stuffy flight!yes ive used them several times, they are very good. the planes are quite old compared to the new emirates style planes, but the service is good and they are staffed very well. no issues with Thai air
my one issue would be that the air con system didn't get very cold. I think its because the Thai people in general do not like air conditioning being extremely cold. but I did find the flights to be quite stuffy.. it may have been the flights/planes I was on, but that was defo an issue for me.
Watch out for wools with large headsGoing to Mexico in a couple of weeks and never been before. Staying in Riveria Maya area. Anyone been and have any ideas of things that are worth doing ect.
Also is better to take just dollars rather than Mexico’s own currency?
Prices seem to change on a daily basis for many online holidays.Booking a holiday to Mexico for later in the year, yesterday it was an extra £120 to fly out on the Friday, today to fly out on the same day it's an extra £10 how does that work. Not sure if this should be in the minor things that make you fume thread.
Me and some friends are going Tokyo around Sept. Can't wait. I've always wanted to visit Japan.

We've booked a cruise for next August and we were checking prices for at least a couple of weeks before we booked. Some days the price would go up. Other days it went down.
I think it is mainly due to supply and demand. How many rooms are available in your hotel and the number of seats remaining on the plane.
Cyprus is lovely my Mum has been living and working out there since 89.....first holiday of the summer booked, Cyprus in July. Not sure if it’s something you do as you get older, but we found a hotel with great booze and food so we keep going back there. Daughter is joining us ahead of her wedding in August, it’s nice that your kids still like going away with you.
