He's done zilch so far is the reality. Started off quite well but in by the end we were the same old Everton, unsurprisingly bottling it when it looked like we actually had a sniff of a Europa place. I suspect we all know that's down to the dross in the squad more than anything to do with Anccelotti though.
Needs his own players in before he can be fully held to account for poor results . Hope he's here for a good while yet.

Bit racist that mate
He’s done great with an utter garbage squad. We was heading for the drop under Silva.
This is where we were on the 22nd December 2019 i.e one day after Carlo was appointed

We finished the season on 49 points which is 30 points more and that includes the poor periods we have had. If we projected that to the first 18 games of the season then we would finish on somewhere around 60 points which on the final standings of this season would have finished us in 6th place and qualified for the Europa League.

And that is with working with a bunch of whoppers so imagine what he could with a team built in his own image.

The future will be brighter with this fella as long as he is given the tools he needs.
Has to be viewed in the light of what he inherited in terms of players and the awful start to the season under Silva.
He is got an incredible amount of points from this shower.
considering the players he was lumbered with i think he's done incredible.
I’m interested to know what you thought of allardyces reign under similar circumstances?
Got us to 8th? I can’t stand the guy or his football either but he got very little credit for the points he gathered, whereas we use those stats to beef up Carlos job so far. And the footballs been no different. Really bias us football fans if your face fits and you say the right things in interviews.
Carlos tenure for me starts next season with some players under his belt and having had some time to work with the team and get some ideas across.
I’m a big fan of his, loved him before he came here anyhow and he should be backed.
I just get annoyed when Allardyce got zero credit for doing an even better job (without richarlison) and Ancelotti is lauded as some sort of god for doing the same.

Allardyce did the job he was asked to do, nobody dispiutes that.

But he's also proven to be corrupt.

I´m not unhappy because the squad is dreadful but he hasn´t done anything out of the ordinary. Most managers would´ve had that bounce to get us away from danger.

I think the fact he´s got such a good track record is great in terms of the fact he´ll be given a decent amount of time to turn things around. The likes of Silva were only ever a month of bad results away from being on the sack list which in my opinion is never a healthy way to run a club.

He has spoken about the squad being near enough what he needs, maybe that was player management for this period, however, it did not work. Its been proper relegation form... At this point I'm a bit flat so its a no from me. Hopefully some key signings on wings and midfielder at that Mina flogged off, might revitalize.

Do we ignore the fact that Allardyce was given around £47m to spend in the January transfer window and Carlo hasn’t been given a penny yet?

Before the last game of the season, he got exactly the same points total as Arteta did with the Arsenal squad, so for Carlo to get that with these clowns to me has done fantastic

Q: Why hasn't the manager sewn us a silk purse?
A: Because we asked him to sew it from a sow's ear.

Early returns are a strong 1/1 for signings. We're still in the Prem, which was looking dicey indeed in November. He turned Digne around, elicited the purple patch from DCL, gave Gordon his Prem debut and was rewarded for it, developed Branthwaite into a legit CB option, and got Kean looking like he might just end up being worth what we paid.

I don't know what more you want from the guy.

You can put it down to a whole host of things but the fact remains: what we saw out of the games after the restart was far from good and will have to improve rapidly, signings or no.

1/1 for signings meaning Branthwaite? If you're trying to tell me Carlo came in and found a kid at Carlisle after two weeks on the job that is a big LOL from me.

There have been some examples of his in-game management, plus he's been gently pushing back against the board in regard to prospective transfers, or lack thereof.

If he fails here, it'll be because the club is rotten to its core.

The fact that we didn’t get relegated with this bunch of frauds we call players, means he should’ve won manager of the year.

Can’t wait to see what he can do with his own group. It’s actually embarrassing watching some of these attempt to kick a football.

This is just daft.

In no way did Allardyce do an ‘even better job.’

Allardyce’s points per game was 1.42: which extrapolated over a season would get you around 54 points and a finish of 10th.

Ancelotti‘s was 1.58 per game which gets you 60 points and 6th.

This also ignores the millions that Allardyce was given to spend on Tosun & Walcott and the fact he made the match going experience almost unbearable.
