Horse Racing

Neck on the line here but Sir Dragonett is too inexperienced, reminds me of John Gosdens Roaring Lion, came there to win it until inexperience told.
Telecaster won’t win it from stall 2.

I’ve ruled out 2 of the favourites for you and you’re welcome.

I fancy Bangkok, 9/1, vault me later

....ah, not sure if you watched the race but it was really caught up in some rough stuff. It could easily have cost it a place.

Definitely cost her 3rd at least, had no luck at all. Got blocked, checked, squeezed between two horses. One for next time.

I took 10/1 with Billy Hill about an hour ago.

Best odds guaranteed.....and e.w. on four places.
I took the same price at Laddoes. But I've often been stung at the winning post.
My thesis is that the price will shorten once the housewives vote hits home.
I know nothing about racing by the way, normally betting on footer or tennis.
Don't know much about them either but I've had some wins.

Done a trixie on all Baldings King Power Racing horses today. Really fancy Bangkok in the Derby, can't understand the difference in price between that and Telecastor. I know it beat Two Darn Hot but that has flopped again in Ireland.

I might be mistaken in this but I reckon this is the first time the Derby and the European Cup Final have occurred on the same day since 1968.

The Derby was ran on a Wednesday in those days and the teenaged ol’ Khal played truant in order to watch it on TV.

And it was at the end of May for some reason, not the traditional early days of June.

I still vividly recall Lester sitting calmly on Sir Ivor, trained by the original O’Brien, until about that the furlong pole before setting him alight and powering past Connaught, trained by Lester’s former guvnor, Noel Murkess.

And later on that day, United beat Benfica to lift the European Cup at Wembley.

Where the heck have the past 51 years gone
