….hearing PP & BFSB have changed pay-out limit for ante-post bets to £50k in a single day. It’s a joke of a figure for firms of that size.

I already have plenty of Yankees in my book for both firms, placed when the max was £1m but they are saying the new t&cs apply to date bets are settled not when placed. I did a fun 25p e/w Yankee last week courtesy of a free bet that pays £850k if it goes in (I know it’s not going to happen, but it shows how much these can pay).

Anyway, flagging up for those that like an ante-post flutter.

I'm no legal expert but that doesn't sound right. Surely you enter a contract on the basis of the t&cs on the date the bet is struck

…that’s exactly the case being put by punters of those companies. Both had the same owner but have been taken over by the same US based business. I think things will become clearer in the next few days.

….following a concerted ‘Twitter’ campaign, PP/BFSB have reverted to £250k max pay out for ante post bets per day. Looking forward to hitting that

….a huge loss last season, I was sure we’d got ahead of the market at fancy prices before injury intervened.

I understand it was a tendon injury and that they are happy with the recovery but I can’t be as confident as last time. He’s generally available at 33-1 for each of the novice Hurdle races and 16-1 to win any race. I’ll be looking for a a bet on him to win this weekend and any race at the Festival.

How, or probably where is the correct question, do you put a bet on for it to win this weekend and any race at Cheltenham? Is it a 'request a bet' type thing?

….a few firms have those offers. I use it quite a bit so I’ll post if I see any for An Tobar.

(Note; Paddy Power offer 66-1 for Stage Star to win the Paddy Power Gold Cup and Ryanair. i think that’s worth a couple of quid, Nicholls has namechecked both races and indicated he’ll be kept fresh for them).
