The tevez deal sent a clear signal on that and it is certainly a big hold up in the case of Fernandes but we seem to be going about it properly so I'm hopefull.

If we can buy out the other owner I can't see any problem since then we'd own Fernandez from the sole of his boots to the top of his uncut hair. Might be a problem if the other owner won't sell though.

Exactly, and somehow I think, behind the scenes, they had already 'greased the skids' with that 'other' owner so Benifica was the real barrier. But hey, they got Adu now so they don't two young wonderkids in the midfield do they?

Rocky. I live up in Glasgow now. Apparently the reason Pearson left Celtic was that he liked a bit much of the Coca Cola if you know what I mean. He was out injured alot which means that he can't be tested for it. Know what you mean though, he makes some great runs. He's like a Kilbane player but better.
