How stupid are Manu?

LVG now seems to be blaming the players? Nothing that another £225m can't fix...

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has issued his team a warning, saying that every player at Old Trafford is competing for their spot in the squad.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against West Ham, the Dutchman told reporters: "I think all of them are playing for their future and all of them are aware of that. They know they have to perform. Not just in the matches, but also on the training pitch.

"It always has to be 100 percent. Maybe a lot of players were not aware of that -- but now they know.

"It is not easy for me [to make tough decisions] because I know that most of my players are trying to do their utmost best.

What did he say?, he should have been banned for calling QPR Queens Park Raisens the other week.

"We know in advance everything is against us," Van Gaal said after the 0-0 draw. "We have to come here, the pitch is not so good but that can influence also that you play in another style and the opponents are always giving a lot more than normally and defending is always easier than attacking.

"And then you have seen the referee, it's always the same. Everywhere I have coached these games, and I have coached them with other clubs it's always the same."

The charge was bringing the game into disrepute because he alleged bias by the referee.

After the game at the Abbey Stadium, Van Gaal told the BBC's Match of the Day: "Every aspect of a match is against us - the pitch, the referee." He later repeated the accusation, adding: "You have seen the referee. It's always the same.
"Everywhere I have coached these games - and I have coached them also with other clubs - it's always the same."

The FA charge states that Van Gaal's words "allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match referee and/or bring the game into disrepute".

Personally think his comments were grumpy and ungracious but not worth charging him for. Getting so you can't even mention the refs these days which is ridiculous as they are human and can screw up just like the rest of us.
