/cringe.
You simply could not imagine this could you, they really are the dumbest of the dumb... after the RS of course.

Apparently De Gea's head isn't right so he won't be playing against spurs tomorrow.

They've had all summer to sell and now it looks lime they'll have to sell. Madrid definitely niw hold all the cards. You can't keep a prize asset who won't be fully committed to the cause.

Ridiculous, there's loads of hairdressers open until 5 on a friday. He's no excuse

He was great for them last season, will be interested to see what happens now. Valdes and LVG aren't really getting along either; apparently Valdes hasn't bought into the "philosophy."

Looked very Everton today but managed to out-Spurs Spurs. Not in the title race on that performance. Not just the effort of the players but the tactics and subs. They'll be fighting with the RS, Swansea and Southampton for the places we dream of

Why make a private conversation public? Not sure what LVG gains tbh

Van Gaal’s revelations came after a press conference when he had been asked about De Gea’s position and made it clear there was no change – “he remains out of the squad” – before saying it would be better to discuss it in a “more intimate setting later”. At the end of his conference, he took a seat beside the journalist who had asked him whether De Gea actually wanted to play and, clarifying that he was still talking on-the-record, proceeded to say it was the goalkeeper’s wish to be left out of the squad.

His comments were unusual, not just in the way they were delivered but because they also go against the club’s usual policy of trying to keep private conversations in-house. De Gea’s camp have been saying that he would have been happy to play and that it was wrong of Van Gaal to say he was not fully focused. Van Gaal’s version of events sheds an entirely new light on the affair, with little over two weeks to determine whether De Gea will get the move he craves or be left contemplating a difficult season running down the final year of his contract at a club he plainly wants to leave.

Yet another player sent to play with the kids, getting a touch childish this treatment.

@danroan: Source close to De Gea tells me he's 'surprised' at not being selected, wants to play, and has been made to train with reserves this week

I imagine that this person has a Gerrard ManU jersey

I've seen a United 'fan' wearing a Gerrard England shirt when the 2006 World Cup was on, so it's not particularly beyond the realm of possibility. He's probably supporting Chelsea now though.

Manchester United’s potential move for Pedro has stalled as he considers the managerial style of Louis van Gaal, with the Dutchman having fallen out with Víctor Valdés, the Spanish goalkeeper who is a good friend of the Barcelona forward.

Van Gaal’s recent handling of David de Gea’s future is also a factor in Pedro taking stock of his options. The United No1 has been dropped from the side – with Sergio Romero keeping his place in goal in the 1-0 victory at Villa Park on Friday night – and the manager this week claimed De Gea told the club he did not wish to play as he is distracted due to Real Madrid’s interest. However, De Gea is bemused by Van Gaal’s handling of the situation and Pedro has noted the manager’s stance in relation to another of his compatriots.
