@martynziegler: Man Utd director tells investors to assume club will reach the CL quarter-finals
Wonder how realistic that is.

Perhaps European football will suit their comparatively slow, possession based approach a bit better but they certainly haven't started out well. Not very I'd say
Aww, they have three injured defenders? What are we on, three injured left backs, two inured right backs and Stones potentially injured?Given he was already in LVG's bad books for failing to get his visa sorted so he could join the Utd preseason tour, this wasn't the smartest move from Rojo.

Marcos Rojo has infuriated Louis van Gaal by failing to reveal the extent of an injury that forced him off against Southampton on Sunday. The defender limped out of Manchester United's 3-2 win at St Mary's and isn't available for the Capital One Cup clash at home to Ipswich. That has angered Van Gaal, who is now short on options at the back.
'Marcos Rojo is not ready to play. It's not so nice that we have three defenders injured (Rojo, Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair),' he said. 'I thought we were right on time for Rojo because we changed him in the game and he didn't warn us he was injured - but he has a hamstring injury.' It is the latest in a growing list of problems Van Gaal and Rojo have endured during a prickly year together at Old Trafford. The Argentine was fined in pre-season for failing to renew his passport and looked set to leave the club.
WTF is that?http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...e-like-if-Ryan-Giggs-had-retired-aged-35.html
Wasted 5 minutes of my time and can only conclude that the writer of this article has been injecting copious amounts of crack and lists RAWK poetry as a creative influence on his Linkedin. A bizarre circlejerk Manchester Utd article up there with other literary greats like "They made us dream" and "General Rodgers". A fantastic example of what a mad combination of too much FIFA Manager Mode, a vivid imagination, and hard drugs can get you. How much did it get past the editor and published?
I genuinely have no idea how it got published. Every single word of it is daftWTF is that?
Hahahahahaha that tickled me that bitDespite Giggs' feat, Moyes is named Manager of the Year after guiding Everton to second place, while Arsene Wenger is sacked as Arsenal manager having gone nine years without a trophy.
This seems very petty.

Louis van Gaal’s relationship with Víctor Valdés has deteriorated to the point that the outcast goalkeeper is not allowed a dressing-room locker, was excluded from the official Manchester United team photograph and is not even permitted to train with the Under-21 or youth-team players.
Van Gaal’s ostracising of Valdés has taken aback some of the other Manchester United players and left them with a clear impression that the Dutchman can be every bit as uncompromising as Sir Alex Ferguson when he falls out with members of his squad.
Valdés has been isolated to the point that his training schedule is deliberately arranged for times of the day when he will not see his former team-mates. If the squad is training in the morning, Valdés is told to come in during the afternoon, or vice versa. More than once, the times have been switched for the first-team players and if it coincides with Valdés as he trains alone the former Barcelona goalkeeper is given a new time.
He's meant to have fallen out with coaches at Barcelona and he and LVG has some previous history so Valdes might not be the easiest character to deal with. But as far as I know nothing that would trigger this excessive treatment. What a terrible way to treat an employee. Disgusting in fact.
What heinous crime did he commit?
This seems very petty.
