We cannot afford that risk, with the squad we have, to play them every game right now. Dom’s already played the first 2 games with a toe problem and Richy hasn’t had any level of a break in months

Branthwaite and Nkounkou both had decent moments but you can tell they’re probably not ready for regular first team action at a high level just yet.

As a whole, a mediocre game from us overall. Davies the standout of the first half. Really poor call to disallow Kean’s goal. Kean’s red probably should have been a yellow as well. Rough start to the second half but much more solid once Gomes and Digne came on.

I think Nkounkou is ready, has been since he got here.

Like most young lads they need game time, its hard to get that though especially with Digne in the team.

Centre back less so but its still a risky one I suppose.

Mad game.

We looked comfortable for most of the first half up until the last 5 mins where we just let them have the ball and they eventually equalise.. very poor game management that.

Three good goals - Kean wasn't offside with his. The refs heads fell off during that 5 min spell where Huddersfield had their second chalked off and Kean got that red. Proper amateur stuff that.

We're through anyway and minutes in the tank for a number of players who needed it. Good character shown after going down to 10. That's the second time in about 8 days that Huddersfield have lost to 10 men lol

Gone for Jean-Phillipe as man of the match. Got through to the end, and looked fit.

Otherwise huffed and puffed team performance. Should have been easy, we very bad at defending set plays...

It’s not, but we need them more in the league than a cup tie right now. I’d rather them risk it Saturday and have the international break to recover than get injured tonight and not play the weekend
