I've some reports by people on the web who also went to Hull and the resounding opinion is the away support are finished with Martinez, can you confirm/deny this ?

100% confirm. Some people on the coach were willing to give him until the WBA game but most of us saw enough yesterday. MOTD didn't do us justice - we were 10x worse

I was there too mate. The support's split and what you read on the web isn't representative of the "at the ground" support.
There's a substantial minority who want him out, but I'd say most people are prepared to give him more time.

Same with booing. On TV it probably sounds like all the support are booing at the end, but, round by where I was there were as many people clapping the players at the end as booing. The majority of people were disillusioned and did neither.

Both of you spent good money to get there, I applaud you for your support and probably you have been to other away games as well as home. Games and results like yesterday are not what you want to see, bet the mood coming home was sombre.

The club values it fan base and rightly so, how the players can't get motivated to have so many toffees behind them every away game is beyond me. Really hope we play with tempo on Tuesday and all that pent up frustration can be released in a positive way.

only thing I can see wrong with your set up is mirallas and barkley don't track back so besic and mc carthy will get pulled all over the place.
Yeah but... that's two midfielders to support the defence with a main role of defending, meaning we have four fully defensive-minded players on the field (two centre backs, two midfielders) whose job it is is to get the ball and pass it to an attacking player, simple as.

You could even have McCarthy floating just in front of the back four, and Besic doing a man marking job, or doing the leg work in midfield chasing people and kicking them up the arse.

Surely four fully defensive-minded players is enough, and that's not taking into account the full backs!

Our away support is amazing mate and pretty much always has been. All it needs is the players to turn up, put a shift in and we're behind them. You see a lot of the same faces week in, week out at the aways and a lot of the lads are fairly young and I've no idea how they afford it.

For me, Hull's a fairly easy away to get to. I was home last night at 7:15, which isn't much later than what I'd get home from Goodison from.

I am way too old now for travelling all over and anyway don't have the money. Also where I now live it is about 45 miles away from GP so can't do that regularly either because of time and cost. So I subscribe and try to watch all games on the box. I used to be there though week in week out from the early 60's into the 90's until I remarried and moved away.

My blood is blue.

.......bit of feedback from yesterday's game;

- Distin apparently communicating that the dressing room is 'unhappy'.

- Medical situation is a mess (as I've been suggesting for over 12 months). Donachie left by mutual consent in the past week. Apparently 20+ hamstring injuries, including a player who has come back twice only for the severity of tear to increase. One player has gone abroad for an injection today.

- John Stones and Osman asked to travel with the team despite both being injured. They wanted to support even though unavailable. Great attitude. Stones appears to be walking ok, Osman has his foot in a protective boot.

- a number of players are turning out with injuries. Probably normal at this time of year but I understand this has been the case for a while and might partially explain the lack of sharpness.

- Jelavic agent says the hottest property at Everton is youngster called Liam Walsh (@swisso and @LinekersLegs might be interested). Central midfielder from Huyton with a bit of bite about him. The staff apparently think he's the real deal.

I think EGGS this is the background of Donachie leaving but who is his replacement. With all theses injuries I would also ask what training is being done at FF. Did Donachie have a row with RM over the methods after all Donachie was there under or EX and no problems then.

.....se my previous response. I disagree about there being no problems under Moyes, we have had a very poor record of getting players back for a number of years.
