We have the opportunity to kick on as a club with a world renowned manager in charge and the first marketing idea the club has is to pick a kit manufacturer that was partly famous 29 years ago.

Some will say it doesn’t matter but what a club does off the pitch in this regard is massive. A few extra quid matters and if Everton think chasing hummel for cash is a wise move then so be it.

If we can’t attract big brands such as Puma (Newcastle) Adidas (Sheffield United) and Kappa (Aston Villa) then the club are either not a big enough commercially or thick as shjite for not picking a kit manufacturer that will be successful both home and abroad.

Quite like their designs. Nike seem consistently the least inspired and least imaginative - despite their price tag I see them as a cheap brand oversold. Adidas would be my top choice, but hummel seem consistently to produce interesting stuff at least.

This is surely the best deal we can get financially. That’s why we changed at board level so we get the best commercial deals possible.

I couldn’t be bothered what they are wearing as long as there is entire new squad to wear it.

Really not arsed right now as to what they wear, just wouldn't mind seeing some decent football played whatever it is.

The one time I've come across Hummel was in Santander a couple of years back, the gear was smashing, picked up a training top that's still in mint condition, unlike Macron, who do some nice gear but they don't seem to last as well.

Are today's young uns really that spoilt they won't wear a certain brand, madness, if it's decent gear, and I think it will be, and has the club logos I don't see the issue.

Whether Everton are successful or not on the pitch will not be dependent on who manufactures the kit.
Yes and this isn't something new. Most adults won't wear something that isn't a decent brand either.

This is just a ridiculous move. Hummel are the Netto of sports wear and we're going to have the making out kits.

Big brands want to be associated with big teams. I guess we have zero aspirations to do that.

If it's the best deal on offer for the club commercially, what's the issue?

One label stitched on a sweat shop made polo shirt instead of one you like better? Who cares?

whoever pays the most, theres non league teams wearing adidas kits!
i personally couldnt care if they wore clown suits as long as they win!
