Some absolute mad shouts in here this morning. Kids will get the kit because its got an everton badge on it. If the training gear looks nice adults will probably buy it for training/footy. Highly doubt anyone will be that arsed if we were sponsored by Adidas or Hummel. If Hummel are paying the most money then give it to them and find a high street chain to sell the kit in. Isn't that crap kitbag deal finished now?

I know I am an old fogey, but I just don't understand brand snobbery. I could maybe relate to it if there was an obvious gulf in quality, but the stuff Nike did for us was pretty crap, going by the replica shirts I used to see out and about, and I didn't like any of their designs. The current Rangers shirt looks far better than our abomination.

How much do kids really care about the brand of the shirt they support though? I didn't when I was a kid I just bought the shirt regardless.

Think the answer to that is shown in the amount of kids you see in Barcelona, PSG, Liverpool trackies and training stuff in comparison to Everton, on Merseyside.
Kids will want the kit, but arent as likely to want extra gear.

It's not necessarily that they care about the kit itself, more that it maybe just adds more fuel to the second class club fire. They go into school and get 'haha you lost again at the weekend' 'haha you haven't beaten us in your entire lifetime' 'haha you haven't won a trophy in your dad's lifetime' 'haha who the hell are sportpesa and hummel'. Kids are a nightmare for stuff like that, and there's less and less stuff that we can reply with. They need something to be proud of. The stadium could be a massive help in that regard.

Initially i was underwhelmed last night hearing this.
This morning i looked at the Rangers and Boro kits (they also do denmark), to be fair they arent that bad.
They adopt a quite traditional, smark look. The rangers home kit is plain but will suit alot of peoples tastes, the away one is also simple yet nice.
Its going to be hard to please everyone as some people (kids) like funky designs, yet the older folk just want a comfortable shirt to wear whilst driving to the game or relaxing in the pub.

Badly need to get shirts back on the rails in all sports shops.

Really annoying for the past number of years to see the RS, City, Chelsea, United, West Ham etc etc in all the popular Irish shops while Everton is invisible.

Great way to build a following in young kids!

Nobody was mocking us saying who the hell is Le Coq Sportif and Hafnia meat products are crap.

I still don't buy Hitachi products to this day...

Only way to stop above is to win matches. And win a trophy.
