I very much hope the reason Silva hasn't taken another job is because he's waiting till the last game of the season ends + has been watching the matches..

I would say he hasn't taken a job becuase no bang average team has approached the bang average manager

Vieira was one of my favourite ever players, but we're not a premier league team who needs to take a risk like that, at have enough money to let a smaller team like Newcastle take a punt and then we take him.

It might have some traction though, with Moshiri’s Arsenal past.

I could only see it as a possibility if Arteta came as his assistant, but I assume he will be looking for a managers job himself as well if he is to leave City.

Paul Lambert
Malky MacKay

Vieira would definately be a punt but I would suggest it would be an educated punt. He was an intelligent footballer and he was highly regarded as he progressed as a coach at Man.City which was why he was given his chance at NYC. I think he has been there 2 seasons and has done well and taken them to the top end of the table.
It's probably a baseless rumour anyway.
Besides, Allardyce has at least another year to run yet.
