Silva for me, I just think he will be a good fit, I want a young hungry manager who has his own style, I think a Fonseca, Emery or Blanc would only use us as stepping stone similar to how Koeman did and if they won a few games they would be constantly linked away (i.e. Koeman being constantly linked with Barcelona every time we won a match)

Give it to Silva and give him the remit and time to build a young side with its own Identity
Until he gets a better offer....

Be buzzin with Fonseca, but if we want to end the now generation-long trophy drought and get rid of the loser mentality that's got this club and it's fanbase by the bollocks, then we should go all out for Emery if he even shows us a slight bit of ankle

3 Europa League's on the bounce with Seville do you know how mad that is

Don't understand the love for Silva. The talk of Watford being at their best in years under him doesn't actually stand up to scrutiny.

Even before Koeman was sacked and the approaches were made there were some very poor results and performances against some teams who subsequently got rid of their managers. Add into this the myth of his near miraculous Hull escape and it's difficult to see what's so special about him.

His unhappiness at not being allowed to leave Watford for Everton seems to be an acceptable excuse for him being subsequently woeful at his job. He's also only managed to remain at one of his previous 4 clubs for over a year - Sporting CP where he managed just over 12 months.

There's 16 reds voting for Sam.

Ded funny dem redmen...'cos casual racism and lashing bricks and bottles at coaches is PASHUUNN DOH LAAADD

How dare you.

Nah, he's got to be gone soon, and off we go again. It's getting to be the norm, this choosing a new manager lark, and it's wearing me down.
I don't know who's on the list, or even who's involved in the selection process, but we have to get it right this time.

......until the next time....
Apart from tying up his leaving package, why is nothing being leaked from the club, we are safe from the drop, Silva is available and it would shut down the daft press conferences about him planning for next year or at least hinting at it.

Part of me asks, what else would he say? If he says nothing, or hints that he won't be here, he's admitting he's gone, and his ego wouldn't allow that.
He's always done daft press conferences. We just notice it more now cos he's here.

Errrm King, Joyce, Hunter and Bascombe have all relatively recently ran articles hinting strongly that he will be off in the summer and we are already either looking or in discussions with replacements mate, club ambassador Sharpie - has stated on radio twice in 3 days he believes he will be off this summer.

What more do you need to see/hear before you realise these are handled stories fed to them from within the club?

Spot on about his self serving press conferences.

I`m sure if you analysed every single one he`d done as a manager over 20 yrs, you wouldn`t find a single one in which he does anything other than blame others and praise himself.

He didn`t show an ounce of contrition or humility, when he got his grubby mitts caught in the Ingerland till, so he`s hardly going to start now is he lol
