seems like a pretty fair deal for a player approaching 30, don't really ever think he fit into the system marco wanted to play but did an outstanding job in his three years in the blue jersey. Will be missed but interested to see who we buy to replace him.

All we have been mostly seeing was around the 29/30mil mark with millions in addons-even 10mil in addons,so who knows if that fee is right or not at the minute

I like Gana but he is nowhere close to irreplaceable. We would have had to have started down this road in a couple of years time anyhow without a fairly big cheque to go with it.

Just a shame we have just had the AFCON as that would have been another plus point in him going now.

Surely we have the replacement in Delph? Combative sitting midfielder not afraid to put in the dirty work next to Gomes, better passing range too, just hope he stays fit because Gana has been durable.
