We need Moshri to get us a buy out owner who know what they are doing & sweep the decks clean at all levels - we must be the worst run club in the premiership - a complete clear out at board level - & deadwood players ......
This
Absolute must or we will just Lolly gag along for years. Board from top to bottom needs replaced. Football knowledge dearly needed.

I'll be relieved but I won't be celebrating. Finishing top or in the European spots is worth celebrating. Finishing a really poor season without the worst result is just grim and not what we as a club should be celebrating.

I was convinced I wouldn't celebrate last season, if we stayed up. I was on the pitch. It was pure relief and emotion.

This season however, I'd only be on the pitch if we all went on to protest. Not a chance would I be celebrating barely staying in the league again. This season has been a disgrace and they've treated us like dirt. Regardless of our status at the end of the season, change is needed.

I will be over the moon if we manage to stay up as we have looked doomed in recent weeks. Mainly though I will be very happy another crap season has finished and we can have a bit of time away from bloody Everton !!

I'd celebrate if only because I think relegation could well mean the end of the club from a financial stand point.

It would be a shame for relegation to happen this year. The past two years have been down to the financial position of the club and the horrible recruitment during Moshiri's reign. We've managed to clear a lot of those wages off the books. While there are still a few left (Gomes, Gbamin and Alli), but this deadwood would be even more difficult to sustain in the Championship. We're most of the way there.

That being said, I have no reason to believe that Moshiri or the board will start running the club well, but its better than going bust.

i was kind of resigned to us going down and thinking it may be for the best, strip out the squad, start afresh, and hopefully win a trophy and come back up in thr new stadium

but not only does the financial concern worry me, but how a relegation would effectively tarnish the club. the one thing we have atm is longevity. we are a top flight club, always have been. to go down would take away the one thing we have going for us.

i'll celebrate if we stay up, but something huge needs to change for us to survive again, otherwise we will ust go down next year.

we feel very Villa circa 2012-15. not good enoguh for the league but always 3 teams worse. we are heading down at some point unless there is drastic overhaul at board and player level

If we avoid relegation , I would actually do none of your suggested options. Maybe just a wee punch of the air. Mutter yes , and then hope that we get everything right , in the transfer market , for next season., And yes I know that we aren’t going to bring in any superstar strikers . Or any world class £100m midfielders. But we can still strengthen . We do need a few back up strikers . Surely that will be addressed now . A decent back up keeper would be great.,I admit to being worried , if Pickford was injured.
Anyhow , we all know that we need to strengthen. But getting rid of a few players , would also be great., Think that we all know the players that we really don’t want to see feature for us next season.

Anyhow , no celebration from me. And how can we be spiralling , when we can play like we did against Brighton. And as for rebuilding in the championship , that can’t be good for us. I’d rather that we rebuild in the premier league.
I suppose that , what I really want to see happen , is for Moshiri to get rid of Kenwright and his Laccies. Get proper people running the club . And then we can actually properly move on. We can at times , show that we have a half decent football team. We can play well , when we get everything right. We can defend. We can score goals. We can compete. Just need that consistency, from somewhere.
Don’t really want Kenwright balderdashing everything up. If nothing else ,the guys a jinx.
So I won’t be doing any of your options if we avoid relegation. Just a wee punch of the air. And a wish that we don’t get into this position , next season.
Up the Toffees. Our staying up Toffees.

Haven’t actually voted, because I’m stuck somewhere between options 1 & 2!
There will be huge relief when we are actually safe, but celebrations will be on hold until Moshiri either sells up altogether to people who know what they are doing! Or he gets rid of Kenwrght and the incompetents on the board and appoints fit and proper football people to run the club, and they tell him to keep his nose out of anything football related!

My immediate thought is that we would be able to secure new investment and the funding to guarantee the stadium gets over the line, even if we went down in 23/24.

Unfortunately, that's a distinct possibility in its own right and without whatever sanctions might be imposed.

Apart from a brief feel-good factor at the start of this season, every game feels like an endurance test and I think that's going to continue.

But all of this is moot. We have to ensure safety over the next three games. I've rationalised relegation to a large extent but that doesn't mean it's somehow less of an appalling prospect. It isn't.

Apart from struggling this season the real thing that has pissed me off (and there are too many thing to mention this season in just one post) is that it is the second consecutive season it has happened. That is an absolutely disgrace and it’s that, that has made me really angry and frustrated. The BoD have been quite rightly castigated for it they clearly do not learn from any mistakes they make and then had to cheek to blame the fans.
