Same as last season. Will be hugely relieved but as has been mentioned unless there are big changes then we will be right back here again next year. We didn’t learn from last year and near every decision made this year has proved to be a terrible one. No striker in the summer and waited 5 games to bring in Maupay who has been a very poor buy and not the type of striker we needed, waited too long to sack Lampard, didn’t bring in a single player in Jan when we were crying out for some additions. Only decision we did get right was selling Gordon.

On top of that, going into this summer we have to wonder if we have got money to improve the squad? Are we going to be sanctioned?

I remember reading that whenever Utd won a trophy, Sir Alex was back in his office early the next morning planning the next assault, not resting on laurels.
When England won the Ashes in 2005 it triggered a celebration that went on for months, bus parades, visits to Downing St etc etc. The Aussies went straight into a boot camp in prep for the next series which they won 5-0.
The moral here is that celebrating breeds complacency. This year, we don’t want to see pitch invasions or the manager dancing about in the main stand. Not that I think that would be Dyches style.
We need to be straight on it and start the clear out, start to identify signings as best we can the very next morning.
Not that we will have anything to celebrate

Speaking from the experiences of 94 and 98, the relief only lasts the day. Then you spend the next week thinking about how we got into the mess in the first place.

Once bitten twice shy and all that. Actually celebrating that we have stayed up appeases the people who run the club as they then believe they are off the hook because the fans are happy. Especially Kenwright as he wallows in it.

We have to make it clear that going through this nightmare two years in succession is completely unacceptable.
My wish is that we are safe in advance of the final game against Bournemouth, it means no relief celebrations and fan groups who want to protest than really protest and be vocal then as it won’t effect the season…..the final noise of the season imho should be that the fans once again remind the club that the Board should go

We haven't even stayed up yet and people are already whinging about us staying up

We are a parody TV show in the vein of Ted lasso and do not actually exist, surely

We need Moshri to get us a buy out owner who know what they are doing & sweep the decks clean at all levels - we must be the worst run club in the premiership - a complete clear out at board level - & deadwood players ......
