2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

He’s a spectacular footballer when he’s in full flight. If he adds consistency he is going to be a hell of a player. Today was on the back of 3/4 quiet games I thought.

Comfortably our most talented player, if he can sharpen up his passing and crossing he is going to be some player.
I think having someone in the box and someone to pass to might make his stats better. We need to reverse also and get our players passing to Ndiaye more. The more involvement of Ndiaye the better we are. Sometimes it looks like the players stand back and just watch him rather than support him.

If we had threat from both wings and a proper player in the middle you can really see him shining in that Pienaar role.

Could be everything Pienaar was but with more power/goal threat.

Think Tim could be a big player for us in the run in. I like his style

…loved watching him in that Bournmouth game, he really has quality. Great banter with Brooks who he kept running past for fun but he went missing when it mattered and Brooks won the day with a late goal.

Being good isn’t everything, application is just as important and it’s what he lacks. Be interesting if Moyes can bring out the part he lacks, I like him lots.

Thinks Moyes would educate him off the ball as that was his achilles. On the ball thought he was clever and composed. Still a young lad so we can have some hope for a complete player

Feel for him most games. Needs a clever full-back and/or clever 10 to link up with.

Lindstrom made a big difference for him today I think. With the likes of Harrison playing, opposing teams will happily leave the full back to defend him 1:1 which allows an extra man to come over to the other side and double up against Ndiaye.

Lindstrom stretched their back line, giving Ndiaye more space to operate in.

That stopover was a thing of beauty.
