Definitely not. Legend gets dished out way to often in this modern era and a lot of them simply aren’t.

Mate , I was lucky enough to be at Goodison for probably his best 2 goals for us - the debut goal v the Arse and the halfway line shot v Wham in period 2 and I still don't think he is close to being the best player I've ever seen in an Everton shirt.

It depends if you are talking about the ability that he showed throughout his Everton career or when playing for United.

In period 1 he showed fantastic potential and in period 2 he was mostly so imobile that he was ineffective.

He fulfilled his potential at United. Although actually I'd argue that if he had shown the dedication of Cristiano he could have been even better.

No , he's nowhere near the best player that I've seen in a blue shirt.
