Then apparently the agents of Belfodil didn't like how negotiations were being done from the Everton side (wanted different agents?).
Anywho, it came to a dead end.

I'm not convinced this Walsh/Koeman relationship is a healthy one or can be sustained.

This is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for Belfodil . I am sure he would crawl over broken glass to get to Goodison as it would get him into one of the big leagues and probably a huge increase in wages.
If the deal is dead I can only imagine it is because Everton have lost interest and that would make you wonder why...have other possibilities arisen?

Feel a bit sorry for him really. Didn't he play a "farewell" match against Dortmund recently as a treat for Leige fans?

Looks to me like Walsh is trying to go one way (recruit for the next few seasons with burgeoning young talent) and Koeman is going another way (chequebook out for tried and tested players).
