If you want to revisit the argument at the end of the season it's fine. Jack isn't exactly lighting the world up but he's still getting assists and his goal.

Can't get back to midfield from that position as well as Doucoure and weirdly was looser with the ball, totally understand his selection on the wing with his workrate and positional sense but off the striker I would look elsewhere.

Another player who is not exactly going to be getting a starting place at Real Madrid any time soon, but his productivity in attack from open play has been very good. Very useful.

Played in an unfamiliar position and covered lots of ground. Him and Gana shut down the geordie midfield. Though he - like the whole team - was excellent.

I thought he was very good tonight , he adapted straight away to his new position and fitted in well, keeping up a good workrate and an assist for Doucoure’s goal. We’ve now got another option with him , but I assume he’ll be back to his normal position on Sunday if Garner is fit.
