I'm very much on the fence with him. What I saw of him at Leeds I liked a lot more than what I've seen since he got here.

Definitely puts a shift in, no issues there, but the quality hasn't been there a lot of the time.

Same here. Seemed a lot more direct at Leeds, rarely see him beat his man since joining.

Just wondering if the injury he has is more serious than thought - certainly suspicious given Villa pulled the plug based on that.

Suppose you have to bare in mind that he played predominantly on the left for Leeds, which does make a difference. Our wingers don't seem to play inverted too much under Dyche, so considering that both he & McNeil are left-footed that's probably why McNeil often looks a bit more comfortable on his natural side compared to Harrison on his 'unnatural' one..

Makes the goal on Saturday and more productive than anyone we've had there so far.... Anyone you'd like in his place?

Oh, I know Harrison is a case of needs must because of our situation behind the scenes. It could even be a case of him being more conservative in his play style due to Dyche's tactics. Even with these things in mind, though, I still think we as fans should want more than work ethic from a "winger". Games just seem to pass him by in an attacking sense if you know what I'm saying? Ultimately, it's frustrating to watch, even if I'm inclined to accept the fact its delivering the goods away from home.

I think he's pretty much bang on the type of signing he is - a decent loan player. I wouldn't want to spend 10-20m on him but as a player who is a loan I think he's fine. Ideally he'd be in the squad rather than a starter but with our finances I'd struggle to argue there would be much better in the market and he's contributed well so far this season in terms of goals/assists.

The 3 behind DCL, all work hard and may get 15 goals between them, but they’re all mid table/bottom half footballers imo and will miss more chances than they take. We need better players to kick on, 2 issues is finances and having a manager who prefers hard work over talent

He puts more effort into sprinting out wide following a cross field ball to keep our shape than some do, and Young would be even more at risk if he didn’t. Good concentration on him. Probably does contribute quite invisibly defensively by having decent positioning, doesn’t get caught miles upfield with no cover behind. Not very exciting that though.

Doesn’t do that many wide-player ish things (obviously a couple of good crosses per game). Doucs broke down the right far more times. Will have been naturally technically great growing up, like Garner, and somehow just ended up a wide player. Not sure it obviously suits his instincts. Bit late now. I’d go back 15 years and tell him he’d make a good modern attacking left back.

Effective contributions though which is what we need at the moment, as those contributions lead to goals, which lead to points, even if the rest of his game is just decent. We have better players than him with more fanfare and expectations that have contributed far less to actual points on the board.

Teams results were awful at the start of the season. Teams results have improved significantly since he's been starting games. Team player.
Whats the problem.
