He's had a trial with Watford and is now training with us, of course he's an option.

We're mothering him ala Baxter. Nothing more, nothing less.
And what did we do with Baxter? Signed him for a year.

Thankfully, he never stepped foot near the first team.
The difference being Baxter was always a youth player, never really broke through.
Rodwell shone in the first-team at times and went on to win the League.
....remember him getting lost driving into FF, so he hired a cab and followed it.
..not sure there was ever any evidence he’d be a good CB other than folk saying he would. I don’t ever remember him playing there.
He was a ‘safe’ footballer, almost always passing the ball in the direction he was facing whereas the better players took it on the spin.
Did for the youth teams but only remember him playing there, albeit briefly, at the senior level away at West Ham one year.
If he's hungry and willing to bleed blue for the shirt then he deserves a deal.
