Transfer Rumour Jaden Philogene

Is this you laying the groundwork for saying TFG and Thelwell messed up the window?

Think I'd rather have Ndiaye in that role in behind the striker. He has very quick feet and great balance and would be a nightmare to control.

I feel like McNeil is underrated centrally. He’s a top dribbler, has great vision and a brilliant long shot that’s wasted out wide. If he wasn’t slow he’d be at a much bigger club than us.

He scored 2 good goals against Palace when he played centrally too. He’s the only player in the team who isn’t afraid to pull the trigger outside the box, he’s usually on target with those shots too

I don’t mind him wide because he works hard defensively and has a good cross but just feel he’s wasted out there.
Agree completely, I prefer him centrally to pull the strings. Ndaiye has better pace and trickery to work a full back. They could probably swap and drift in and out of that central/wide position throughout the game to vary the patterns of attack, as they test defenders in different ways. Though that would require some form of attacking coaching which we lack

He’s slow and weak, top dribbler?!

He’s better centrally because his best asset is a hammer of a left foot. Let’s not revise history here he started off ok in the middle and very quickly went stale.

He’s too one footed to play that central role permanently, and he’s not played enough football in there to develop wing mirrors.

Yes, he's a good dribbler.

He’s alright yeah?

Top dribbler is a bit of a mad one.

I weirdly think he’d have been an alright centre mid in a three once upon a time but he’s too old to start moving centrally now/not good enough.

Think he’ll end up back around a Burnley type club, be good for your Ipswich/Leicester types.

He gives the ball away too much there for me, which tbf can be improved with more time there. What I don't think can be improved though is how completely one sided he is, he breaks down attacks trying to stay on his left at all costs.
