If we had lots of money, I could understand that thought process and agree with you. However, as you say, he should be a first reserve currently but looking at our RB and LB situation, I think a 'much needed signing' should improve the 11 on the pitch.

No excuse for him not to have started games this season after his performances in our pre-season games, and especially while JB is injured.
It’s also criminal he hasn’t got more minutes on the field in the games we’ve had, and should have come on yesterday, just to help shore it up and allow us to calm the situation.
As with Dixon at rb, Ndiaye in the 10, lindstrom on the wing or O’Brien in defence, I don’t see any of these lads being any worse than what we’ve had to already witness this season under Dyche and his favourites,

We all said the same thing in our post match rant is Wetherspoons in Shotton last night. Who is going to play left back though is a massive concern as teams seem to be targeting Mykolenko, this where Godfrey could have come in handy !!

If you aren't starting for Dyche, good luck besides an injury giving you a chance as you'll either get a few minutes in an even game or if we are ahead 'at best', or get 25 minutes or less in a game the managers gave up on already when we are 2 or more behind
I think centre half is far more important than full back. Full back is the one position where you can get a way with average players especially if they don’t need to go forward like in a Dyche team
But we should of course have the finances to do both

Yes I did but on hindsight he would have been a decent option now, but as you rightly said we cannot have it both ways. I think most of us agree though that Mykolenko is going through a rough time and teams are targeting him.
