There's a reason why United palmed him off to Everton for nine million, it's because he's not premier league standard.

I guess he might be able to help us out in the Championship, but if we somehow stay up then we really need to be upgrading on the central midfielders that normally keep Garner out of the first team if we want a genuine PL standard midfield.

Yep. When to buy a player for 9m don’t be surprised when he isn’t a 50m player. Not the players fault. If he is playing to his potential you can’t ask for much more.
Might be great next season !

He had a good first half and when Guye was out of gas and Iwobi being Iwobi , it got very very difficult for him.

is okay when given time, but is slow and small. needs physical athletes around him to protect him.

Saw him down under in preseason for Man Utd and thought he was an A League player filling in for them.

I am not getting on his case for his 1st start today. He did some things well and not so well. Not an obvious disaster like Davies but defo not an Onana just yet
