They both have 2 assists in roughly the same games/time played for us, it takes 2 clicks to check this info.
We don't do attacking down the wings or overlaps - the only chance for a full back to get an assist is like Young's "
ASSIST" to McNeil the other game or by a cross from deep, where DCL is fighting with 2-3 defenders all game and has to head it down to someone else. We also will never do any of this attacking full back nonsense with Dyche, as hard as it is for you to believe for some reason, and he looked better going forward when we had Lampard as we actually utilised full backs.
Anyway, all stats point to you being wrong but you keep ignoring the figures you don't like as you've got a gut feeling his defending/attacking/shoe size isn't up to match the team and he's 'not applying himself'
Garner is not and will never be a full back and we're wasting him as a full back. Hilariously and coincidentally all of you who hate Patterson ignored the fact Garner was walked past for most of the 1st half, and they focused going through him as it was easier. He recovered to an extent in the 2nd half but the 1st half was a liability at best and we're lucky Newcastle had a nightmare in front of goal.
