2024/25 James Garner

…ha, ha what an odd expression to suggest i (and others) ‘hate’ Patterson. I was delighted when he signed but I watch him and he’s been very disappointing. It’s a football forum so I express that judgement. I’d actually be genuinely delighted if he’s the answer to our RB problems, no agenda here just opinion.
Yeah, everyone is entitled to the opinion that Young has more assists this season than Patterson in his entire life. No agenda at all.

…I recall the poster claimed Young has more assists this season than Patterson in his Everton career, not in his ‘whole life’, but that statistic has been challenged.

I can recall one terrific cross for Danjuma to score and good work setting up Dobbin for a headed goal for U21 but he possibly has more. If you want to stretch it to Patterson’s ‘whole life’, then surely he’ll have loads coming through as a schoolboy and even playing with his mates in the street ;)

Anyway, let’s hope he takes his chance whenever it next comes, I’m sure that’s an agenda we can all agree on even in the Garner thread.

I think he set Beto on his way for the 3rd against Newcastle last season too.

Knowing dyche the training involves carrying him on the player's back like Yoda in empire strikes back , part of the process of getting premier league dyche fit
One of the training videos does show the players carrying others on their back for “bonding”. I remember doing that in the 90s while football training as well.

“you can’t bond with a ball and dribbling is for babies” S. Dyche 2024.
