I run about 30k a week and hit the gym every other day I’m not doing that, did my back last year taking a plate out of the cupboard.

It’s mad how it can just happen doing the most every day things.

I sneezed and ended up on the floor in so much pain lying in the rain , they had to call an ambulance and give me gas and air , that stuff is brilliant no wonder women giving birth scream for it, ended up in hospital for 2 days , worst thing it was a Saturday morning and guess who had a home match at 3pm

Too many players since pre season coming back from injury to get injured again in a short space of time. Seemed the club made a step forward regarding injuries last season but so far this season it's been that step back

If Dyche is forced into starting him Saturday high probability he will get injured rushing him back in again

We’ve had to reduce squad quality/size to cope with being financially crippled by the arbitrary FFP rules.
We don’t have the quality on the bench not to have to play players as soon as they as able.
We are barely hanging in in the league as it is.

Is anyone else getting a whiff of “This is Spinal Tap” drummer vibes from anyone playing RB for us these days?! I rate Garner, but not at RB. Needs must I guess but just want to see him forming partnerships with the MF players he belongs with. Get well soon James!

It's a shame we have literally no other actual right backs that can play right back too.

….great opportunity for Patterson, the fact he’s failed to make any impression is entirely down to his failings, let’s hope time away from the team has given him time to reflect on his own game and what it takes to be a RB at this level.

He’s a very poor defender and ordinary going forward but he wouldn’t be the first to turn his fortunes around after a period on the sidelines. Saying that, Dixon might be understandably ahead of him at this point.

I'll be staggered if Patterson is anywhere near an Everton first team start again. At best an emergency bench appearance.

January if he's fit to leave he has to be sold - goodness knows who to, but that has to be the plan for him.

….i think Dixon has the potential to be much better, he’s already a superior defender and more orthodox a RB than Patterson despite being very raw. He can do the basics of marking his opposite number. Patterson is much better in possession, far more composed and able to join in with teammates but if I’m a winger I’d relish coming up against Patterson.

Hopefully he’s been thinking about what it takes to be a top flight full-back but he needs to improve considerably.

….from what I’ve seen, I can’t envisage how Patterson gets a place in the team given his poor defending and lack of attacking quality. Playing Dixon as well as Patterson is admitting Patterson isn’t good enough and needs support. It’s a complete waste of a position.
