Simply has to come right back into the starting XI at the expense of Young atm imo if Moyes doesn't trust Patterson. Preferably Patterson would play over Young and Garner would replace Doucoure.

Young has been one of our best (least worst) players this season.

Garner needs to go straight into midfield.

Even then he may not be enough.

Tim offers more from the bits I’ve seen of him, he can carry the ball which is something we chronically lack.

Garmer ticks things over but I’ve never really seen him affecting the way a football match is going. Still good to have him back obviously.

Needs to come in for one of Gueye or Mangala. He closes ground and presses opponents passing options, something the tiger two don’t do enough because they can’t get round

I wouldn't say I don't rate him as such but I agree with the general point. He's useful but he just seems like a bog standard neat and tidy player to me, I've seen very little of this supposed ability to pick a pass etc that people often talk about.

Totally agree mate.

He’s not actually very good at anything but ok at everything. He doesn’t stand out and is very unnoticeable on the pitch. In midfield you need a presence and he is anything but that.
