2024/25 James Garner

I imagine most of them aren’t Moyes fit levels haha. And I think he has a chance of cementing a place in the starting 11.
That's a good point here, I wonder what the fitness levels of Dyche v Moyes are. I recall the Moyes years, he had everyone throwing up running up the dunes. Also remember them having a lot better "work ethic" but that doesn't mean much since it's a decade+ and the sport has changed a lot.

Why not try him in the number 10 role? He can pick a pass, he can run, he has good feet, vision and workrate. It's impossible for him to be less effective than Doucoure there.

I mean, we have three awful wingers so it might still make sense to play Ndiaye out there so that we only need to play one of McNeil, Harrison or Lindstrom.

I'm just trying to think of ways to play the fewest number of terrible players as possible. Him playing there removes both Doucoure plus one of the woeful wingers from the starting line up.

Yeah remember the players always saying first few days they had nightmares of those dunes. You are probably right the sports science has probably changed a lot, but even watching moyes teams last season, you could tell they where physically fit and had that work ethic installed in them.

We are so hindered by our full back situation, we could play a 433 with him in the center but as with most modern formations it requires progressive full backs. Very frustrating
