Think he's a good player but we need an enforcer/hard man as well. Don't know if Barry is exactly that and while Fellainis greatest strengths weren't necessarily in the defensive midfield role McCarthy isn't a straight swop for his attributes in midfield IMO

I watched lundstram for England youth and he played quality in a midfield with barkley actually looked the better player a very complete midfielder good feet good passing range had kopite mates saying hes boss an better than barkley

and macarthy seems like he is settling well liked the kid since his Hamilton days
