For this season though, Barry will be solid enough but it would be nice to have someone to form a partnership with him long term.....Lundstram I'm excited to see more of.

thought if we had barry in there with him today we'd of had a much better chance, looks a really good player and was very dissapointed to see osman start in there again with him today. seriously we need to ditch starting naismith and osman week in week out, both are good honest lads and can both put a good performance in every now and then but if we want to be serious about trying to get top 4, theres no way either of these can start every week, never mind the pair of them.

Think he's a good player but we need an enforcer/hard man as well. Don't know if Barry is exactly that and while Fellainis greatest strengths weren't necessarily in the defensive midfield role McCarthy isn't a straight swop for his attributes in midfield IMO

Will Hughes from Derby County is the kind of player we should be looking at. I don't see the need for a midfield enforcer in the system we play. McCarthy looks like he can be a special player for us. A midfield diamond of McCarthy-Hughes-Barkley would be insane.
