James McCarthy

He looks like he can do a bit of everything, which is good. Seems to like wrong footing the opposition by using the outside of his foot over short distances. Its a relatively unique little trick, keep an eye out for it when we next play.

Not yet convinced that he's better than Gibson but Barry's already an automatic starter and McCarthy complements him better due to his greater mobility. Ergo, play on J-Mac. Play the **** on.

Osman has been a magnificent servant to this club and I'll always hold him in high regard.

But I also agree that he doesn't make our strongest 11 these days.

Things are changing, the Cahill's and Arteta's are long gone and it's only really the back 4 that remain prominent from the Moyes era and renowned team spirit that we had.

I still maintain that the board are the most important factor in this club going forward.

The manager NEEDS to be backed, even on a moderate level if we are to continue to be competitive.

If Kenwright and the board can't deliver that, then the chairman needs to forego personally satisfaction for the good of the club.

Had a very good game today. I was a bit concerned with him playing hide and seek whenever I've seen him so great to see him constantly making himself available for possession.

He was brilliant, and to be honest has been consistently very good since he's been here.

I might be saying it every week, but I really really like this boy.

Looks a really good player, solid all rounder and fantastic energy levels.

Lacks a 'partner' I think, Barry is good for this season but I think he needs a 'twin' alongside him.
