So people getting worried after 3 bad games in a row isn't that unreasonable
I said it when Martinez signed and I'll say it again, my mind isn't going to be made up till I see where we are at Christmas. So long as we're 17th or higher, I won't be calling for his head. If we are lower than that, I think it's reasonable to ask questions. I may be alone in that regard, but that's how I feel

You can judge. Its a free world and your entitled to your opinion.
Guess the risk of judging anything either good or bad after 3 games though is that over time, when everything settles and you find how the players, team, manager truely can and do perfrom...you could look a bit of a d1ck when you hastily back peddle on the judgment you made after 270 minutes of football.

Well someone was taking the money as they managed to pay out £40m a year in wages.
Compared to £17.4m for Swansea and £19m for Norwich both of whom stayed up.

I'm hopeful we'll be upper mid table by Christmas and even if we're not, I understand that it's Martinez's first season and there will be kinks that need to be ironed out
That being said, a team as good as ours should not be in the bottom 3. We just shouldn't
We have a decent amount of internationals in our squad and the manager has now had a chance to bring in his crown jewel from his previous club. Excuses are getting less and less viable
This is all hypothetical and worst case scenario of course, but I just wanted to set out my stall
Not being relegated is literally the only thing Martinez has to do to keep me happy this season. I don't consider it that much of an ask really, and I would hope most Blues fans would think the same

This definitely doesn't apply to you.
Be interesting to see what both theyre wage bills are this season - as not many clubs commit suicide by signing big players on massive wages first season or 2 in the prem. Once there, they try to stay here and then the wages go up.
Wigan and RMs biggest problem was always losing better players for whatever reason and having to build again every summer. No surprise it usually took them till xmas to sort it out.
Same will happen again with everton. Group of players playing new style take time to adapt. Only difference is that hopefully the better players learn quicker so were not in relegation places at xmas.
where did you get those figures? would be intrested to see them, does it break them down to playing coaching staff?
Im pretty confident everything ive said on here will be proved right tbh. I have faith in my own football knowledge and opinion. Be it Martinez, Kone or McCarthy.
Being completely honest, the one person who i think may let me down is Kone. But I never said he would be a world beater ive only ever said give the lad a chance, give him games and im sure he could get us 10-15 goals this season.
After he dribbled it round the post from a yard out against Stevenage though...a slight amount of doubt did begin to creep in
