Completely.

But because he players for Bayern, people rate him better than he actually is. Why do you think Bayern accepted a £20m offer for him? They certainly don't need the money. Would you accept £20m for McCarthy? Considering we'd need the money more, it makes sense (if Kroos is, according to you, better). However, I don't know anyone who would accept that deal.

They accepted it because he was in the last year of his contract and refused to re-sign.

No, but it's because they don't need the money that they only accepted 20m for him. Money is more important to us than them so it stands to reason we would demand more.

That makes no sense. They don't need money so they accepted a bid for a player that wasn't what they valued him at

Whats that got to do with anything???

You said that they accepted a £20m bid which was below their valuation of the player. This, however, only led to Kroos to reject United and (rumour) begin contract negotiations.

Now, either that's some really, reaaaallly smart player management, or they just don't value him that much.

Understand, now?

The Reds are understood to have agreed in principle to a £20m swoop for the German midfield star who is about to enter the last year of his Bayern contract.

Former Old Trafford boss David Moyes had made Kroos one of his main transfer targets before being sacked.

And now new United boss Louis van Gaal is understood to have given the go ahead for the deal to be completed.

Van Gaal knows all about Kroos having managed him when he was in charge at Bayern.

After two months of negotiations, the United hierarchy are now confident the principles of an agreement are in place for the 24-year-old to become the first of potentially several high-profile signings."

Come on mate. This was on the first page of Google.

How has this got to do anythinng with James Mccarthy

No, because you're making no sense. I think Bayern tried to sell him because he wasn't going to sign a new deal. FFP means they couldn't let his contract run down and let him go free. That's as simple and clear as I can make it.

If James McCarthy was in the last year of his contract and had refused to sign another, we'd bite hands off for 20m.

Now for whatever reason, perhaps 264 days of rain a year, the players decided to re-sign. Bayern, a club at the very top level of football, are happy to have him and signed him up.

Do you get what I'm saying???
