Look everyone, it's a kopite who used to write about Everton in the Liverpool Echo, Chris Bascombe who has wrote this article for the Irish independent.

Manchester City are understood to be considering a swoop for Ireland star James McCarthy, having wrapped up a £49m deal for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling.
City appear to be turning their attention to Everton man McCarthy after missing out on England star Fabian Delph, who opted to stay at Aston Villa.

However, Everton would strongly resist any effort to lure the McCarthy, who would be another hugely expensive acquisition should City succeed with a bid.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have resumed talks with Aston Villa over Christian Benteke but have been warned there will be no deal unless the Belgian striker's £32.5m buy-out clause is triggered.
Good for Chris, he can read the Express' website.

Some neat build up play from Everton but it's Stoke with the only 2 real chances

Lukaku was the only one in the box

So pretty much as you were then.

Shoot me down my fellow blues, but this season he's got to add 5 or 6 goals, and try and break beyond Lukaku like Ramsey does with Giroud.

I love McCarthy, but we need more from him, a lot more.
obvious for thanks stating the...........rearrange at your pleasure
