he's not in the team to be a playmaker though. For the job he does his passing is absolutely fine. For me he's played one of the passes of our season with that assist to Lukaku vs Stoke as well.

If you mean the ball that Lukaku chested down and then slotted, pretty sure that was Cleverley who done that ball.

Either way, that's actually my favourite goal of the season because the ball was sublime and the skill to take such a ball and finish was superb.

That was a great pass by Clevs but no, I meant the first goal - it was a great little pass by McCarthy into Rom's feet. One touch on the edge of the area under pressure and slotted it through. I'll try and find a clip of it.

I know his passing can definitely be improved, but he does have the quality of those crisp quick little passes when he does get up into forward positions.

McCarthy's running off the ball is really underestimated (attacking wise). He's one of our only players who regularly makes third-man runs from midfield. Barkley has got a lot better at it this season as well.

He's got two assists this season. One vs Stoke and the other was against Sunderland - we were on a counter and he made a great run that Barkley picked out but the pass was slightly behind him.

If I remember correctly he didn't even take a touch just adjusted his feet and slotted it into Kone's path.

I'm not sure if anybody can find a vid of all (or most) of the goals we've scored this season?

I saw a clip of a few the other day and how anybody can tell me that it's not exciting, great football for a lot of them is beyond me.

Yeh we have our poor moments as all teams do - and ultimately we've been punished for that this year where some teams haven't as much - but we're mightily impressive when we're on our game.

It was a great assist by McCarthy for Lukaku's first, and a great pass by Cleverley for Lukaku's second. The same Cleverley that you consistently slate.
