Martinez has in the past 2 seasons managed to get good players playing poorly. The difference between last season this this coming season will be tremendous. Players that were awful last season should get to show how good they are to Ronny and hopefully they will prove that they were just sick of Martinez and will start playing properly again. For every single playing in our squad to become poor under him shows its more that likely just the Martinez factor.

Like so many of our players last season he simply doesnt look fit? I like McCarthy, he is limited, true, but wh. His head and body are right he is extremely effective in breaking down opposition play, supporting his defence and loading the gun for Barry. I would much rather have him in the team than not!

He is getting absolutely slaughtered for his performances for Ireland. Every radio station is having a pop at him, in his defence Glenn Whelan plays in the holding role for Ireland but his performance levels have been very poor.

So much more in him that's the hard thing to stomach about it. Big season ahead for him, either step up or ship out.

Agree that he hasn't been helped by having Martinez as a manager for so long in his career but if he wants to prolong his career with us then there has to be more than running around. The lad is a crab and while there is much to be said to keeping the ball moving, sideways and backwards passes all the time are always going to get our crowd on his back. I personally think he might need a new start somewhere else and think that a move could be best for both parties but if he is still here come next year it will be interesting to see how Koeman tries to utilise him (if Koeman even sees him as a starter).

Everyone that plays for Everton was rubbishlast season, and i don't expect to see a good performance for any of our players in the Euro's, James no different, just hope no of them get injured, that is all I want from our players this summer.
