Still is.
Really?
How embarrassing for you if you seriously think that.
Are you one of the daft old sods in the Park End retirement home who spend half their time angrily shouting the same 'get it up the pitch' instructions even when we don't have the ball?
Blind, clueless or both?

There have been some excellent returns of previously banned posters recently.

This @GueyeBhoy account is sadly not one of the good ones.

Interesting that despite loads on here claiming McCarthy had no future under Koeman that he started 3 of the first 3 games he could start before getting injured, Koeman then blasted ROI for playing him too much straight after injury and has put him on yesterday for 30 mins. Doesn't sound like the actions of someone who has decided a player isn't good enough for the team to me.

I think Koeman likes players that work hard for the team as well as those with a bit of class. That's why we're seeing Cleverley get time on the pitch ahead of Mirallas and Barkley. It's also important to have a squad with a mix of attributes. Deulofeu being one the most talented but having put in yet another disgraceful performance to add to his horrific Bournemouth effort. Sometimes "running round a lot" does actually help the team, something Deulofeu himself could learn a thing about, and Barkley.

People also forget that players will get injured and suspensions. Gueye will be missing during the AFCON and Barry isn't getting any younger. McCarthy has a big part to play this season I reckon, even if it is predominantly coming on from the bench.

Koeman turned Steve Davies from a journeyman into a regular starter for Southampton. He seems to like a hard working player who he can mould. James McCarthy just might be a more regular part of Everton than most of us had thought.

There's a first - Cleverly and the word " class " in the same paragraph.

That's fine if you are happy finishing around 7th
But I'm not. Get rid

We have to get to 7th. Finishing 7th this year would do me. We have a better chance of attracting players from 7th place than we do from 11th. Particularly if we are improving.
I'm not a fan of McCarthy, I think he is very limited but I will reserve judgement until he has a chance under Koeman. I'm not particularly hopeful.
